It was bittersweet to read the last book in the Delirium trilogy by Lauren Oliver! I love the series and did not want it to come to an end. Regardless, I swept through the last book in a day because I couldn’t put it down. Oliver has a way of writing that catches the mind….

Behavior. Delirium will teleport around the room, sending out an array of white projectiles and green projectiles that explode like Ipecac. Its most notable (and dangerous) attack is that it will transform into bosses previously encountered during the run, including a few of the "final" bosses (Mom, It Lives, etc.).
REVIEW: Delirium by Lauren Oliver Tile: Delirium Author: Lauren Oliver Series I love this book! The ending was SO intense and depressing! I mean that in a I started to feel how the book was intense, and couldn't stop reading. But then again, the first book in the series is always boring due to that you have to introduce everyone.
Okay, not just a book, but a really good book. This is what happened to me the time I reached the final page of Pandemonium. I can’t explain the feeling. Maybe it was a mixture of things. The feeling where you don’t understand whether you are sad or happy or hopeless or the opposite. And the only easy escape.
But the stories you continued are NOT DELIRIUM! I really hated the book ending, but i dont think theres gonna be another book I agree that this is a terrible ending for a series, it would have been okay if it was a book and leading.
Delirium Books first published The Rising, the first book in a series of zombie-themed horror novels written by author Brian Keene, winning the Bram Stoker Award for Best First Novel in 2003 and helping ushering in the new era of zombie popularity in mid-2000s.
It doesn t matter if she s writing a full-length novel or a synopsis for the back of a book -- I d read it. Her writing is engaging, exciting and always leaves the reader guessing. This couldn t be more true after reading Hana. I have yet to read Annabel, which is the prequel to the series, and was just released.

Delirium. The first book in the series, Delirium introduces us to Lena who is living the standard life expected of a teenager in this dystopia; waiting excitedly for the day of her cure so that she can live her life free of the disease.
I don’t want to continue ranting, but this book was an unsatisfactory ending to a series that was building itself up for a spectacular ending. When I finished reading book 3, Requiem , it was just around the time that FOX had announced they were making the book series.

There are no spoilers in this review. I discovered Lauren Oliver's Delirium series a long time ago, around the time it was first released. It was in 2011, so a gazillion years ago in a bookworm's life. Yet it was always a series that stayed with me and, as I found myself re-reading it this….

The ending was absoluty horrible, too many unanswer questions, it seemed to end right in the middle when things were about to get interesting. If your wondering if you should read this book to see how the series ends DON'T you'll only be extremely disappointed.
Goodreads Summary: Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love - the deliria - blooms in your blood, there is no escaping.
I picked up Delirium at BEA and was initially underwhelmed by the premise, which has been done before in many other books. Lena, our teenage protagonist, lives in a world where love has been eradicated (oh my goodness, how many times have I used that phrase “in a world where” in the past couple.

Three things we adore, in no particular order: 1) Love; 2) Dystopian Fiction; 3) Lauren Oliver’s Delirium trilogy. What we’re. Lauren Oliver Literature Quotes.
Alex (Delirium #3.5) by Lauren Oliver think that this short story should have been #2.75 instead of #3.5 so that Requiem's ending could be the total ending of the series. BUT, the ending to this novella was also good considering it is the actual last book to the series.
The ending will leave your heart racing and, I daresay, broken. With all that being said, I absolutely loved this book! That s the best I can do on describing how I feel about it. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series, as the cliffhanger is hard to bear, but I guess I ll have to suffer along with everyone.

Delirium has found a spot in my large collection of books. Lauren Oliver's idea for Delirium came after she read an essay by Gabriel Garcia Marquez that focused on two main themes: love and death. When Oliver saw a news post about disease, the three ideas collided, and Delirium, one of the best books.
Series Reviews: Delirium, Pandemonium Requiem (Delirium series) by Lauren Oliver I read the Delirium trilogy some time ago and while it didn't become a favourite, I did enjoy the storyline. My review for the first book is spoiler-free but the next two books do contain major spoilers so you have been warned.

Delirium Series by Lauren Oliver – SPOILERS For me, the best way to do this is by beginning a book or series that is in the Young Adult category and after that I would stop reading this blog because I will discuss the ending and how disappointing.

Requiem (Delirium Series #3) Read! Finale to the Delirium series. Ending bothered me a bit, but it was still a great book and a great series.
Oliver’s second book Delirium (2011), the first in her Delirium trilogy, I’ve honestly never had such positive feedback from a book or book series that I’ve recommended. To all the Ash fans great news – a fifth one is on the way. Pre-order.
There are quotes from The Book of Shhh at the beginning of some of the chapters in Delirium, and Lena mentions it as though it's a sort of religious tome, saying, "defacing or destroying the Book of Shhh is sacrilege" (14.80). We can only piece together what it is through hints dropped.

This book is just beautiful. The cover, the words, the characters, all of it beautiful. It's funny that in the world Lauren Oliver has created, love is a disease, something to be cured, and treated, love is exactly what I felt for Delirium.
I also felt that the ending was rushed. I was left asking questions, and I hate that in a book! The Delirium Series I did enjoy this series, I just didn’t like it as much as the Divergent series or the Hunger Games series. I was hoping.

Delirium Homework Help Questions. What are the themes of the novel Delirium? One key theme of Lauren Oliver's novel is the importance of love. This emerges clearly as the author creates a dystopia in which love is the main "flaw" of which people must be "cured.".
The third and final book of the Delirium Trilogy, Requiem is told from both Lena Haloway’s and Hana Tate’s points of view. The two girls live side by side in a world that divides them until, at last, their stories converge.
For a book that is based entirely on the idea of love, is incredibly dull. Delirium was well written and the idea was good, but in my opinion, it fails to deliver. The development of the story falls through. The main problem to me is that the book is not passionate or surprising, there is no intensity.

In Delirium, the government has banned a lot of books because they re dripping with love. This isn t the case in the contemporary U.S. of A., but if love stories were to start disappearing from the shelves, never fear—you d be able to fly through Delirium before anyone got around to burning it.
