Aug 26, 2014 · Hostage Three is a beautiful book, besides the fact that the title can make it sound somewhat stridulous. This zestful and enticing book was quick to draw me in. Amy, the main character in the book is a teenage girl who has lived a rough life. Her story is compelling and reaches out to your emotions.

I didn't know that this book was by the same author as In Darkness until the very end, when I read the acknowledgements and found out, but now I can totally see the similarities, I have to say that I totally enjoyed Hostage Three a little more though because it was romantic, gritty and terrifying.
