Paul Roche House
The Roche House is one of the largest timber frames we have designed. The house and the walkout basement comprise over 6,000 square feet of living space. Almost 90% of the timber for the frame came from the building site. The posts and main girts are 10 x 10 and larger white pine. The house has the feeling of a country lodge.
The design takes advantage of a southern exposure and pond view. The passive solardesign allows this very large house to be heated with one woodstove in the winter.Return to Portfolio
